Comedian. Writer. Friend.

About

Elliott Morgan is a stand-up comedian, writer, host, and founding member of The Valleyfolk. Elliott is also a founding member of SourceFed, a Google-funded comedy YouTube channel (Rest in peace) that was ultimately acquired by Discovery. As the host of The Fundamentalists, a weekly podcast with philosopher Dr. Peter Rollins, Elliott explores life’s innate paradoxes through a lens of psychoanalysis, philosophy, and good old fashioned storytelling.

Following the success of SourceFed, Elliott pivoted to stand-up comedy and ultimately released a one-hour special, Premature, on Fullscreen and Vimeo-On-Demand. His second special, Holy Shit, is set to be released in the fall of 2019. Holy Shit is part stand-up, part one-man-show, shot in one, continuous take ON THE FIRST TRY. Holy Shit’s technical attributes are second only to its candor, as Elliott takes a small, intimate audience on a journey through growing up in Florida, divorce, and what it feels like when your ex-wife goes on an E! reality show to get “revenge” on you.

Elliott is one of four members of The Valleyfolk, which produces a weekly, television-length show called Your Show, which combines sketch comedy and improv using prompts from The Valleyfolk’s patrons. In addition to Your Show, Elliott also hosts Hot Take, a current events show that’s part Daily Show, part Weekend Update, shot in one take, on the first try, with zero jump cuts.

Since launching, The Valleyfolk has amassed over 280,000 subscribers and regularly features juggernaut creators like Rhett & Link, Smosh, and Gus Johnson. The Valleyfolk is also one of the top Patreon accounts in existence, boasting between four and five thousand patrons who are united in their love for The Valleyfolk’s particular brand of off-the-wall, irreverent humor.

This Fall, Elliott and the rest of The Valleyfolk were on NBC’s Bring The Funny, a comedy competition show. Hosted by Amanda Seales and judged by Kenan Thompson, Chrissy Teigen, and Jeff Foxworthy, Bring The Funny seeks to find America’s best unseen acts in the worlds of stand-up comedy, sketch, and variety. It airs on Tuesdays at 10 PM.

In his personal life, Elliott enjoys reading, traveling, and volunteering every week with the Born To Act Players, a Los Angeles-based charity that teaches acting and improv to special needs students.
